Literacy Symposium & Challenge Research Symposia hear EBDW findings
Practitioners, researchers and policy makers engaged with our research on Emergent Bilinguals in a Digital World at the Literacy Symposium in the University of Canterbury in October 2017. In the photograph from the left at the back row, Lesieli Tongati'o, Saili Aukuso and Leona Harris have in front of them Tufulasi Taleni and Niki Davis. Other members of the wider research team also present include leaders Gail Gillon and Angus Macfarlane. Our emerging findings were well received by the early childhood sector in particular.
On 16th March 2018 updated and extended findings have been shared at the national challenge hui in Auckland, He wake eke noa/Better together: Research excellence for healthy tamariki.
Posters on their PhD research by research assistants Leona Harris and Saili Aukuso were also displayed at both events.
